Chandigarh, September 6: The volunteers of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from Sunam in Sangrur conducted a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club (CPC) on Tuesday to express their unsatisfaction towards the way party has been working in Punjab.
The AAP volunteer from Sunam in Sangrur district of Punjab Ravinder Singh and others addressed the media ad levelled serious allegations of including money embezzlement, rape charges, links with lord mafia Majithia against the leaders of the party.
Extending support for sacked AAP leader Sucha Singh Chhotepur, the youth leader of the party, Ravinder Singh also alleged corruption in ticket allotment process. AAP volunteers named Aman Arora and Vijay Chauhan mentioning they also have an audio sting.
The move comes two days after an AAP MLA from Delhi’s Bijwasan, Colonel Devinder Sehrawat had written to CM Kejriwal informing him about the presence of more leaders like Sandeep Kumar in the party who are exploiting women in the name of the ticket.
The volunteers alleged that AAP candidate Aman Arora, who joined the party just six months ago, is involved in public money embezzlement. Aman Arora was named in AAP’s third list of candidates. Ravinder Singh asserted that the leaders sent from Delhi to Punjab should be called back as they are doing no good for AAP, only dictating.
