Sanjay Singh’s OFFER to Simarjeet Bains : What he says on Bhagwant Mann

Announcing that their newly-formed party — Awaaz-e-Punjab — will contest on all the 117 seats in Punjab, independent legislator Simarjeet Bains said this outfit will fill the political vacuum and give people an option for electing a clean government.
“We will contest all the seats in the upcoming assembly elections. Our motive is not to take a mileage to meet our political ends, but to work passionately for the people and give them an honest government,” he said.
Bains said twice he met cricketer-turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu and MLA Pargat Singh (suspended from Akali Dal) in New Delhi in the past week and the decision to form the party was taken after rounds of discussions in a cordial atmosphere.
“Navjot Sidhu will lead our party. He is the most experienced politician among us and commands respect from all quarters. We had first decided to announce the outfit it on Wednesday, but ended up doing it on Friday.” He said Navjot Sidhu’s wife Dr Navjot Kaur, too, has joined the party, adding all like-minded and honest people were welcome to join the party.

“The manner in which the Aam Aadmi Party is functioning, it is clear that it is a party of people who are not true to their words. “The AAP wants to use Punjab as a spring to catapult itself into the national political scene. There was a time when my supporters, too, were pressuring me to join the AAP. But it is slowly getting exposed. I am thankful to God that I didn’t join the party.”
On sacked AAP Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur, Bains said he should have taken a stand against Kejriwal’s ‘so what if you were to be expelled from Sikhism’ remark earlier. “He should not have stayed quiet for so many months,” he said.
