What Pargat Singh says about joining AAP

Jalandhar: A day after his suspension from SAD, the Olympian Pargat Singh, MLA from Jalandhar Cantonment, scathingly attacked over the working style of SAD president and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal. Pargat even termed the SAD, a party of Chamchas and Dalals where Sukhbir considers himself as a “Super Human”.

Pargat, addressed media persons in Jalandhar and said that the SAD has become a party where a genuine and plain-speaking persons like him have no place.
“Only those voices are heard who lick shoes of the SAD chief. On the other hand, the SAD chief thinks himself a Super-Human who can do each and everything,” said Pargat while answering questions about the functioning of AAP.

Even as Pargat denied giving categorical answers about his joining AAP, the MLA however, gave enough indications about his love for the Arvind Kejriwal led new party.
When asked after the press meet about the possibilities of his joining Navjot Sidhu with AAP, Pargat said, “I and Sidhu makes good combination. He has remained a hitter as batsman and I served as defender who prefers to play cool. If we get together we can made a difference,” said Pargat, who said Sidhu was his personal friend.
When asked that the SAD-BJP and the Congress terms AAP as a party if votes to power in Punjab would spoil the state, the MLA replied, “Do you mean more than the Akalis !”.
“Even few inexperienced people can serve the state very well if they have good intentions,” says Pargat, on questions if AAP was bunch of in-experienced persons.
Former India Hockey captain says Akali Dal has become a mentally bankrupt party and the decision to suspend him only reflects this.
“Show me a reason where I breached the code. Yes I raised my voices against corruption and other issues but always never crossed party line. Still I was suspended as I opposed an un-scientific Solid Waste Management Plant in my constituency, that would have killed the future generations of my constituency,” said Pargat.
