What Kumar Vishwas had said for Navjot Sidhu

On the first day of Parliament’s monsoon session, BJP leader Navjot Singh Sidhu resigned from Rajya Sabha and there are rumours that he is likely to join the Aam Aadmi Party. Amid the development, #NavjotSinghSidhu is trending on Twitter with people on social media sharing their opinion on this sudden move.
Unsurprisingly – since Twitterati make for absolutely great online miners – many users have dug out AAP leader Dr Kumar Vishwas’ tweets from 2013 where he has called the then BJP MP “Farar MP of Amritsar” and “Farzi Rashtrawadi Abscond MP”. The tweets went viral within minutes of sharing.

Navjot Singh Sidhu’s resignation from the Rajya Sabha and the speculation that he may join AAP has sent waves rippling through social media. The resignation comes at a time dangerously close to Punjab Elections.
The support that AAP has shown Sidhu for his resignation has sparked rumours that he may be the next AAP CM candidate for Punjab in 2017. Dr Kumar Vishwas of AAP tweeted ‘welcome’ to Sidhu today, among a few other such tweets.
