Watch: Minutes before Guru Randhawa was ‘attacked’

Minutes before Punjabi pop singer Guru Randhawa was ‘attacked’, while performing on stage in Vancouver, he was heard singing ‘Slowly-Slowly’ which has over 100 million views on YouTube.

In a video that has gone viral from the concert, Randhawa is seen donning a black jacket, carrying a yellow backpack and waving at his fans.

During the performance he was seen going backstage and minutes later, rushed back with an injured forehead.The 27-year-old singer claimed that a “Punjabi man” had punched him, which left him with four stitches on his right eyebrow.In less than 24 hours, the video has over 84,000 views.

Randhawa was attacked at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, in downtown Vancouver.
