A Singapore Airlines flight caught fire while making an emergency landing. All passengers and crew were safely evacuated.After touching down in Changi, the right engine caught fire.
Emergency services put out the flames shortly afterwards.
Singapore Airlines plane (Boeing 777-300ER) caught fire while making an emergency landing at Changi Airport on Monday morning. The plane was turning from a flight to Milan following an engine oil warning message, as per media reports. Though there were 222 passengers and 19 crew on board , but no one was injured.
The passengers, however, described the moments as a “so-close to death” experience.
The aircraft’s right engine caught fire after the aircraft touched down at Changi Airport at around 6:50am media reports said.
Passengers disembarked through stairs and were transported to the terminal building by bus, reports said.
