BJP MLAs issue death threats to each other in public

MLA Vs MLA in Uttarakhand has brought embarrassment to BJP. In a video that has gone viral, the two BJP MLA’s war of words escalated to such a point that two started to threaten to kill each other and even abused each other in front of the media. In a major embarrassment for the Bharatiya Janata Party, the internal feud between two of its MLAs escalated on Saturday with the two leaders giving death threats to each other in public.

Pranav Champion, BJP MLA from Khanpur in Haridwar, challenged Deshraj Karanwal, another BJP MLA, to a bout of wrestling to settle scores, to which the latter responded by hinting that he would take him on in a gunfight. As per local reports, Champion challenged Karanwal to wrestle with him at Nehru Stadium on Saturday morning, and even waited for an hour for his opponent to show up. Calling Karanwal a “coward”, Champion claimed that he would soon snatch away his membership of the legislative assembly, and send him to jail, Amar Ujala reported.
