Loot and scoot brides gang busted

Faridkot police claimed to have unearthed a gang that lured and duped youngsters aspiring to settle abroad. These youngsters were supposedly married off to women who claim themselves to be “NRIs” using fake passports, visas and citizenship certificates.The leader of the gang, a woman identified as Narinder Purewal of Jalandhar, has been arrested whereas three members of the gang, including two women, are at large. The police claim that the gang members cheated at least four families by demanding big sums of money for marrying loot and scoot brides.
The other members of the gang have been identified as Manpreet Kaur Dhaliwal, Simran Kaur Saini and Parampal Singh.
