Congress biggest enemy of Sikhs: Sukhbir Badal

AMBALA: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal attempted to attract Sikh voters in Haryana by talking mostly on the issues related to Sikh community, while promising free electricity to the farmers using the tube wells for agricultural purposes – if voted to power here.Meanwhile, nearly 20 persons were detained by the Ambala police for showing black flags to Akali leaders. Ambala City DSP Ajit Kumar said, “They were detained for blocking passage and were released after the rally completed.”Addressing the SAD’s Janchetna Rally in New Grain Market in Haryana’s Ambala City, Badal targeted former chief ministers of Haryana – Bansi Lal of the Congress and Bhajan Lal of Haryana Janhit Congress – by saying, “Sikhs were framed as terrorists during their tenures and it is the SAD which has exposed the real face of the Congress after a continuous fight against Sikh atrocities with the support of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Centre.”
