Kiran Bala Case : Pak courts direct interior ministry to decide within 30 days

A Pakistani court on Saturday extended by 30 days the visa of a Hindu woman who converted to Islam and married a Pakistani, and directed the interior ministry to decide on her petition for further visa extension and citizenship.

Foreign Office of Pakistan had rejected these “baseless” Indian allegations and stated that it was deeply regrettable that facts in this matter had been completely distorted and misrepresented.
She maintained that she has married a man named Mohammad Azam, a resident of Lahore, during a ceremony held at Jamia Naeemia seminary in Lahore on April 16, at her own will and has taken a new name Amna Bibi. “I suspect she might have fallen into the hands of ISI”, said Tarsem Singh, a Sikh religious preacher in village in Garhshankar.
