Majithia slams Kejriwal and Captain

Majitha, November 12, 2016: Punjab revenue & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia has said that no one will be allowed to play with the interests of Punjab and the people of Haryana also understand that there is no extra water in Punjab to share. Interacting with some selective journalists after attending religious function at Gurudwara Sahib Mayian Wala here today Mr. Majithia said that Congress is the real culprit for SYL Canal which has been exposed in the people. Mr. Majithia said that special session of Punjab Vidhan Sabha is called on 16th November on the SYL Canal issue. He said that one thing is crystal clear that not even a single drop of water will be allowed to go out of Punjab.
Mr. Majithia said that Congress is playing drama politics on SYL issue but the people Punjab will not fall under such traps or tactics of Congress. He further said that every Punjabi knows that the Congress is the main root cause of SYL Canal issue which gave approval for the construction of SYL.
Asked to comment on the threat by Haryana not to allow Punjab buses to enter Haryana, Mr. Majithia said that water issue is Punjab’s internal matter and Haryana does not have any right on Punjab’s waters as per as per Riparian law or basin law. He advised political parties not to destabilise hard earned peace and communal harmony among the people.
Commenting on Kejriwal’s silence on SYL issue he said that Kejriwal has already been exposed due to his double speak on the issue. He said that due to such double standards of AAP people did not give any response to the protest call given by AAP.
Earlier Mr. Majithia honoured Sant Baba Ajaib Singh Ji Guru Ka Bag and Sant Baba Sardara Singh Ji for doing Kar Sewa of new building of Gurudwara Sahib.
Others present on the occasion included Major Shivi, Mr. Talbir Gill, Jathedar Santokh Singh Samra, Prof. Sarchand Media Advisor, Satnam Singh Sabulia President Gurudwara Committee, Vice President Ajit Singh and Manager Joga Singh Athwal and other prominent religious and political personalities.
