Harsimrat visits Moga dera

Badhni Kalan (Moga) – Union Minister for Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal along with her son and younger daughter visited Anand Ishwar Nanaksar Thath, a Sikh religious dera at Badhni Kalan village in the district, last night.
According to The Tribune, Union Minister for Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Bada met Baba Zora Singh, chief sewadar of the dera, and held a closed-door meeting with him and his subordinates for about 30 minutes. She arrived at the dera at 9 pm and left the venue 10.30 pm for Badal village.
Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and his deputy Sukhbir Badal had reportedly been holding meetings with influential Sikh priests for the past few days in view of the “Sarbat Khalsa”, which was postponed today.
Dera sources revealed that Baba Lakha Singh and his followers had promised to stay away from the “Sarbat Khalsa”.
Harsimrat claimed that she along with her children came to the dera to pay obeisance and seek blessings.
