As an actor, Bhagwant Mann is famous for his comedy. As an Aam Admi Party MP, his acts continue to land him into serious controversies.
The stand-up comedian turned politician still remains the most popular face of AAP in Punjab, where elections are due in less than a year. Even as the AAP aims win the state, Mann’s acts might have handed over ammo in Opposition’s hands.
After facing allegation of coming to the parliament in an inebriated condition, AAP MP from Sangrur, Bhgwant Singh Mann, refuted he allegations and offered to undergo dope test. He also demanded that some other MPs, who were trying to tarnish his image, must also undergo the dope tests.
Mann was in Chandigarh late Friday night and while talking to babushahi.com claimed that he was being targeted to damage the AAP that has bright chances in the ensuing assembly election in Punjab.
He, again said that he has tendered apology in writing for his ‘Act’. My intention was not to beaching the security of Parliament.
Earlier on Friday, Harinder Singh Khalsa, AAP MP, (suspended from AAP) had submitted a written request (without mentioning any name) to the Lok Sabha speaker that he could not bear the stench anymore and his own seat should be changed.
