Viral Video : Sidhu Vs Kejriwal

Amidst speculation about his joining the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), video clips showing cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu mocking at Arvind Kejriwal went viral on the social media on Tuesday, a day after he resigned from Rajya Sabha.

In the clips, appeared to be shot during the 2014 Delhi assembly polls, Sidhu is seen making fun of the AAP national convener and describing him as “Nautanki company”.

In one of the clips, he is seen saying Kejriwal had claimed “Politics kabhi join nahin karunga, Aam Aadmi Party bana di…Mai security nahin loonga, ‘Z’ security le lee. Mai bangla nahi lunga, khud jhadu maarke bangla liya.”
The former India cricketer is also seen making fun of the Delhi chief minister’s chronic coughing in one of the clips.

“Idhar dharna, udhar dharna. Tujhse khansi to theek hui nahin, Delhi kya theek karega. Main koi jhooth bolea?

AAP Chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted the following after Sidhu’s resignation:
People can give their rt hand for an RS seat. Ever seen a sitting RS MP resigning to save his state? I salute Sidhu ji for his courage

Sidhu was also ‘welcomed to AAP’ by party’s Punjab convenor Sucha Singh Chhotepur.
