Shah Rukh Khan’s views on Salman Khan’s ‘raped women’ remark

Actor Salman Khan, whose comment earlier this month that he felt “like a raped woman” ignited public outrage, has not apologised, despite the National Commission for Women demanding a public apology. When asked whether the 50-year-old actor should indeed apologise for his remarks, actor Shah Rukh Khan said he is nobody to sit in judgement on someone else’s comments. “In the last few years I have come to realize that I have made so many inappropriate comments myself that I don’t think I am someone to sit in judgement on someone else’s comments,” Shah Rukh Khan said in Mumbai on Thursday.

Should actor Salman Khan apologise for having compared himself to a “raped woman” while filming Sultan? His colleague Shah Rukh Khan says he isn’t qualified to offer an opinion.

SRK, 50, told reporters on Thursday: “In the last few years I have come to realise that I have made so many inappropriate comments myself. I don’t think I am someone to sit in judgement for anybody else’s comment. To be really honest, it is not about taking sides.”
