Months after AAP MP Bhagwant Mann and Gurpreet Ghuggi made a statement regarding teachers during an event in Sangrur, a video of the event has gone viral on social media.
In the video, Mann who seeks answers for the bad quality of education in schools and whether any teacher had their wards in the schools they are employed with, besides asking whether their motive was only to earn money.
A scathing attack has been launched on Mann by the teaching fraternity on social networking sites. They have also targeted Ghuggi for allegedly making fun of teachers.

Its pertinent to mention here that few days back Condemning fierce cane-charging by the Police on jobless teachers at Bathinda, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Bhagwant mann said that youth of the State are getting treatment like ‘enemies’ as if they have come from across the border to disturb peace of the State.

“Unemployed girls were misbehaved by those who claim to be the champion of protecting the rights of womenfolk through “Nanhi Chhan”. What is the fault of protestors? Is it not the state government’s failure which could not provide them jobs in spite of their having appropriate qualification?” quipped AAP’s Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann.

Turning his guns towards Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal, Mann said: “If you have not born in the Badal family, you would also have been among the youth who were cane-charged mercilessly.
